A cooperative regional bank, present in the entire French Alpine arc, the Banque Populaire des Alpes supports customers with every step of their professional and personal projects, as well as with their asset management.

Main activities

The Banque Populaire des Alpes is a key banking player with nearly 400,000 customers and relationships with 1 out of every 2 local SMEs.

CHAMBRE DE METIERS ET DE L'ARTISANAT DE LA HAUTE-SAVOIE

Accompanies and supports the competitiveness of the 17,000 tradesmen of Haute-Savoie.

Main activities

The mission of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts is to:

COMMUNAUTE DE COMMUNES CLUSES ARVE ET MONTAGNES

The Communauté de communes Cluses Arve et montagnes groups ten municipalities around Cluses, thus uniting the local authorities in the valleys with a marked industrial vocation and the "balcony" villages higher up that enjoy more or less intensive tourism.

Main activities

This group of municipalities has taken over a certain number of responsibilities previously incumbent upon the individual municipalities or smaller groups of municipalities. In this context, it manages sanitation, school transport and household waste collection for its entire territory.

It has also deployed new actions that didn't exist previously at the territorial scale, for example tourism and economic development, social action, public transport, land use planning or territorial promotion.

Finally, it manages all of the facilities recognized as of community interest linked to the economy, culture, sports, tourism and road maintenance.

COMMUNAUTE DE COMMUNES FAUCIGNY GLIERES

The Communauté de Communes Faucigny Glières (CCFG) is an EPCI composed of 7 municipalities: Ayze, Bonneville, Brison, Contamine-sur-Arve, Petit-Bornand-les-Glières, Marignier and Vougy, at the service of companies.

Main activities

The CCFG has mandatory responsibilities such as economic development and land use planning, but also optional ones decided by the municipalities: children, youth and prevention, road maintenance, technical services and land rights examination.

To perform these tasks, the CCFG shares the staff, equipments and know-how of the 7 municipalities composing it. This pooling reflects the shared ambitions of the municipalities to provide residents with a homogenous service offer, and to elaborate coherent land use planning, while preserving the environmental quality of life and the identity of the seven municipalities with their complementarities and their solidarity.

Department of Haute-Savoie

A local institution to serve almost 800,000 inhabitants, the Department of Haute-Savoie provides support for everyone at all ages. It has 34 department councilors in its assembly.

Main activities

The Department has three vital missions: social action, public roads and transport, and public schools. It also works at making its territory attractive (tourism, conservation of natural areas, local products, the economy, very high-speed broadband, etc.) and supports major structuring projects. It favors optimum conditions for training for school children and students, and encourages sport, outdoor activities and culture all over Haute-Savoie.

Rhône-Alpes Region

The Rhône-Alpes region covers an area of 43,698 km² and has a population of more than 6 million. With a GDP of more than EUR 180 billion in 2007 (the second highest in the country), Rhône-Alpes produces 9.8% of wealth in France. The Regional Council is run by 156 regional councilors elected for four years by direct universal suffrage. Its role is to regulate matters in the Region through assemblies and permanent committees.
